I founded EURECO in 1995, after graduating in Maths, Electronic Engineering and Economics and a professional career that took me to Olivetti and DEA.
My experience of foreign languages turns upside down the popular opinion that it is easier to understand a language than to speak it. Despite excellent results at school, and even after acquiring good elocution skills in a relatively short time, I found it pretty difficult to understand foreign languages as spoken by the native speakers. There were never too many problems in business meetings, but outside of this context everything changed - on the phone, for instance, I had to have them repeat everything twice. Fortunately, thanks to repeat stays in England, in various parts of the United States (Michigan, Illinois, California, Texas) and then in Australia and Scotland, I was finally able to acquire the necessary comprehension skills as well.
I am an avid reader, while other hobbies include philately, puzzles and chess.
It is said that I have good ability to synthesise and to deal with complex projects, optimising time and resources and setting priorities.
